ACCEPTING OFFERS, CANCELLATION AND WAITING LIST
If you have been admitted to Tikkurila IB, accept the offer at Studyinfo (Opintopolku.fi) according to the email you receive from Studyinfo (Opintopolku.fi).
Your Homeroom teacher will send information on your pre-DP studies to the email address that you have given at Studyinfo (Opintopolku). You should read the instructions carefully. You can also come to the school on Thursday 11 June between 12-16 or on Monday 15 June at 14-16 and meet with a study counselor if you need help.
If you applied to Tikkurilan lukio IB but were not admitted
If you have not been admitted to Tikkurila IB but you have been admitted by another school, accept the offer at Studyinfo (Opintopolku.fi) by 25 June 2026. Start your studies in the school you have been admitted to.
The waiting list at Studyinfo (Opintopolku.fi) works automatically. Waitlisted applicants will receive an email if they are admitted off the waiting list. You must accept the offer of the study place according to the instructions in the email.
The waiting list is valid until Friday 14 August, 2026.
NB! If you have applied with a foreign certificate, there is no waiting list. You can check our “Summer admissions”.
Cancellation
You are only offered one study place through Studyinfo (Opintopolku.fi). If you cancel your study place, you will not be admitted by other schools you applied to. It only means you will not have a place at all.
If you wish not to accept your place in Tikkurilan lukio IB
- Make sure you will be admitted to another school (contact the principal)
- After making sure you will be admitted elsewhere, cancel your place at Tikkurilan lukio IB at Studyinfo (Opintopolku.fi) by 25 June 2026
If you cancel your place after having accepted it at Studyinfo
- Make sure you will be admitted to another school (contact the principal)
After making sure you will be admitted elsewhere, send a message about the cancellation to the Tikkurilan lukio office to siiri.rantasuo@vantaa.fi and m.sydanmaanlakka@vantaa.fi . (At Studyinfo you can’t cancel the position once you have accepted.)
