IB Entrance exam on Tuesday 14 April, 2026 (No separate invitation will be sent)
14.15 - 15.00 Registration takes place at the main entrance. You will need your identity card with a photo (passport or photo ID)
15.00- 17.00 Entrance exam
Note! DP1 applicants should prepare for an extra hour.
The exam tests the applicant’s skills in English language and in Mathematics. Please note that old entrance exams are not shown to the applicants.
You will participate IB entrance exam if you are
- Pre - DP applicant with a Finnish 9th-grade certificate
- Applicant who has applied to both Pre + DP1 and is residing in Finland
- DP1 applicant, who is residing in Finland
If you have applied only to Pre - DP with an international school report (discretionary applicants/ harkinnanvaraiset hakijat) you don't participate in the entrance exam!
Instructions for the exam:
- Everything you need for the exam is provided by the school.
- No electronic devices (phones, watches, earphones/pods) are allowed in the examination room.
- Please leave your valuables at home.
- The school is not responsible for stolen or lost goods.
- Please make sure that your phone is on silent, put it into your bag and leave the bag together with your other belongings (overcoat etc.) in the allocated classrooms, which are closed during the exams.
- Please note there are no toilet breaks between the exams.
- After the examination, you should take all your belongings and leave the school building.
